As the Medical Lab Tech, you will play a crucial role in our operations, covering a wide range of testing sections, including blood bank, coagulation, hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis. The Medical Lab Tech must be ASCP MT certified.Join us in making a difference in patient care and clinical excellence!Responsibilities :

• Instructs patients in preparing for tests that require fasting. Answers patient questions regarding the tests.
• Maintains equipment and investigates problems with equipment.
• May assist in teaching Clinical Laboratory Science students and Pathology residents and training of new employees.
• May monitor daily operation of laboratory section or work area.
• May participate on teams or individually perform special projects/assignments.
• Performs a variety of routine and standardized tests using standard techniques and equipment. Prepares specimens, resolves specimen problems, and performs analytical tests. Labels and stores specimens.
• Prepares reagents and assists in the preparation of standard and control materials. Monitors levels of reagents and assists in maintaining supplies.
• Records results of tests and maintains records.
