Job Description:
A company is looking for a Radiation Oncology Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Assign appropriate charge levels and ensure accurate coding of
services rendered
Collaborate with the denials team to resolve coding-related issues
and ensure proper authorizations are obtained
Review and process held charges, maintain coding roadmaps, and
assist in training new employees
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required
Coding certification required; ROCC coding certification strongly
preferred, or AAPC/AHIMA certification
Minimum of 2 years of radiation coding experience required
Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT
coding
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
effectively
