Role Overview: Sodexo -is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an entry level Clinical Nutrition Manager position at UNC Rockingham Hospital, a 105-bed hospital with an attached 121-bed long term care facility in Eden, NC. -UNC Rockingham Hospital is centrally located only a short driving distance away from the family friendly cities of Greensboro, NC and Danville, VA. • provide day-to-day management of the clinical nutrition program;
• train, mentor and supervise one dietitian;
• support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
• provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
• collaborate with the food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management; -
• precept nutrition students and dietetic interns; and

Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
