The RN - House Supervisor PRN is responsible for the administrative
coordination and management of hospital activities during each
shift under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer. This role
includes staffing patient care areas, coordinating admissions,
managing patient flow, and ensuring the overall supervision of the
hospital. The position also emphasizes professional growth and
development in nursing leadership while communicating essential
updates to the administrative team.
Description:
Position Summary:
Administratively coordinates and manages hospital activities on a
per shift basis under the direction of CNO or AOC. Responsible for
staffing patient care areas, coordinating patient admissions,
managing flow of patients throughout the hospital and general
supervision of hospital. Maintains own professional growth and
development in nursing leadership and required licensure.
Communicates important information to the CNO and other
Administrative Team members as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education
Associate's degree is required
Bachelor's degree is preferred
Required Licenses
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required
Required Certification:
American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of
hire
ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
PALS is required within 6 months of hire
