We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for an Advanced Systems Engineer - Geospatial /IT/SW to work in McLeansville, NC. This is 12 Month, Contract to Hire position and you must be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency



Pay: $50-$57/hr. D.O.E. Must have Secret Clearance to Start



ADVANCED SYSTEMS ENGINEER - GEOSPATIAL /IT/SW

As an Advanced Systems Engineer - Geospatial / IT/ SW for), you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for development and maintenance of command and control and data processing systems. You will be responsible to design, implement, and implement geospatial solutions on programs supporting our national security.

BA/BS or Master's in Computer Science, GIS, or related STEM field
Experience deploying and managing an enterprise solution based on VMware Cloud Foundation Server.
Technical administration of servers hosting a hybrid-cloud data-provider solution for our customers.
Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and analyzing GIS and database solutions
Demonstrated proficiency geospatial analysis and implementation primarily with the ArcGIS suite of products



PREFERRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCES

Familiarity setting up and working in ArcGIS Enterprise in a virtual environment
Experience creating Python tools, JavaScript applications, and Java
Experience with source code management tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Comfortable working in an Agile environment
Comfortable presenting recommendations and technical solutions to clients
Has a passion for growing and mastering new skills, keeps up to date with new tools and techniques, identifies and implements system improvements, and mentors teammates
