#Allied*Job Summary:*Join our dynamic imaging team in *Shelby*, a welcoming community that perfectly blends small-town charm with modern amenities. As an *Ultrasound Technologist*, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality diagnostic care through skilled use of sonographic techniques. You'll coordinate imaging procedures with nursing staff, radiologists, and referring physicians while ensuring a positive and compassionate patient experience.*Essential Functions:** Review and verify imaging requests and patient orders.* Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with departmental protocols.* Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided invasive procedures.* Evaluate the technical quality of images and refine scanning techniques as needed.* Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and associated systems with precision.* Enter and charge exams and supplies through the radiology computer system (EMR/PACS).* Ensure work area is neat, stocked, and adheres to safety and infection control standards.* Report equipment malfunctions promptly to leadership and engineering teams.* Support the *Patient-Centered Care Philosophy* by treating every interaction as caregiving.*Skills & Physical Requirements:** Ability to safely lift/move patients and equipment weighing up to 600 lbs. with assistance.* Requires walking, standing, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling throughout shifts.* Strong reading and comprehension skills for interpreting patient orders and protocols.* Fine motor skills and sensory acuity to operate complex imaging equipment.*Education & Certifications:** Graduate of an accredited *Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound* program required* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Sonography accepted* *ARDMS or ARRT (S)* certification - _Required_* *BLS Certification* (AHA or ARC) - _Required_*Experience:** Prior experience preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.* Experience assisting with invasive ultrasound procedures is a plus.*Compensation & Total Rewards:** *Competitive base pay* with opportunities for merit-based increases* *401(k) Retirement Plan* with employer contributions* *Income protection* programs including Short/Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, AD&D, and Maternity Benefits* *Annual Performance Plus Incentive* based on quality, patient satisfaction, and engagement metrics* Access to *LiveWELL Wellness Program* with health incentivesAdditional InformationHours Per Week: 40.00Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hourJob Type: Full-timePay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Night shiftSupplemental Pay:* Signing bonusLicense/Certification:* Ultrasound Certification (Required)* ARRT (M) Certification (Required)* BLS Certification (Required)Work Location: In person
