Your Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs and materials for Cheraw, SC facilities.
• Develop instruction for basic electrical maintenance processes (blueprint / schematic reading, PLC operation/programming, pneumatics, hydraulics, wiring-control/relay, components, and applied math).
• Maintain a knowledge of related tools, equipment, and processes to be used throughout the facility.
• Conducttraining for employees, in topics related to field or other specified topics.
• Support the organization in the planning of training, providing content and schedules.
• Provide individual coaching to trainees, in functional or personnel matters.
• Perform all administrative duties in the course of the vocational program, and/or liaise in this aspect with Administrators.
• Drive marketing and promotion of training activities within the facilities.
• Enhance Schaeffler's presence in workforce development, serving as a company liaison for education and fostering partnerships with local education providers.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities, while developing an understanding of Schaeffler Guidelines, processes, and systems
  
  Your Qualifications
  
  Required
  
  • Technical Electrical Degree (or related degree) or Journeyman Maintenance License with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to key stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and computers.
    
    Preferred
    
    • Strong background in PLC programming (Siemens preferred).
