Engineered Wood Material Handler Job Responsibilities:Responsible for EWP Material Handler, including, but not limited to: safety, product quality, communication, and administering company policies and procedures. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Requires a strong commitment to and passion for safety and achieving a zero-incident goal.
Engineered Wood Material Handler Job Duties:

• Cuts product to specifications
• Build loads for delivery
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies
• Keeps lumber yard clean, well-organized, and safe
• Ability to read and comprehend documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals); write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.
• Previous experience using a chainsaw for cutting lumber or materials, preferably in a lumber yard or similar.
• Load / Unload trucks and make sure each delivery/inbound order or customer pick-up is 100% accurate
• Other duties as assignedWage:32-40k per year depending on experience and OT worked, paid at hourly wageRequirements: Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Or 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training with Lumber Yard/EWP
  • Forklift Qualified
  • Solid understanding of WMS-RFN
  • Inventory ControlADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability to lift 50 to 100lbs consistently
    • Ability to work overtime on short notice including evenings and weekends/holidays
    • Strong Attention to Detail
    • Basic Math Skills
    • General Knowledge of hand/ power tools
    • Ability to complete training requirements on assigned equipment (forklifts, tools, scan guns, tape measures, and all required paperwork)
    • Ability to work in all weather conditions
    • Ability to work on your own or as a team concept without causing issues or disharmony to your team.
