We are looking for a Tableau Server Architect for one of our ClientsLong term opportunity to work on a highly visible Project. Need to have Architecture and Tableau Server experience Hybrid onsite 3x a week in CharlotteThe ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Tableau Server infrastructure to support our complex and data-driven environments. This role requires a deep understanding of Tableau Server architecture, performance optimization, security, scalability, high availability, external file store, and a focus on delivering reliable and high-performing analytic solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement a scalable and secure Tableau Serverarchitecture.Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance ofTableau Server environments.Ensure high availability, performance, and security ofTableau Server.Implement and maintain optimal disaster recovery processesand procedures, to include External File Store.Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and businessstakeholders to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.Optimize server performance and find root causes of servicedegradation.Create and monitor key performance metrics for reliablecapacity planning.Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, updates, andindustry trends.Primary SkillTableauSecondary SkillPerformance Engineering/ ArchitectTertiary SkillCloud Implementation (Data on Cloud, Integration with Cloud)Required SkillsProven experience as a Tableau Server Administrator orArchitect.Strong knowledge of Tableau Server architecture andadministration.Experience with server performance tuning andtroubleshooting.Experience in network security and data governance.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills for interacting withtechnical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with running Tableau Server within premises of alarge company.Experience integrating on-premise Tableau Server withoff-premise (external) infrastructure.Desired SkillsProficiency in scripting languages such as Python orPowerShell.Experience with capacity planning and stress testing tools.Experience with standing up and maintaining Tableau Serverin Microsoft Azure (cloud), Windows, and Linux.Experience with industry BI/Reporting toolsets includingTableau, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Starburst.Experience with connecting to Hadoop, Oracle, Sybase, DB2,Netezza, Teradata, and SQL databases.Experience with Data Science integration and application(Python, R).Experience with ETL tools (Trifecta, Alteryx, SSIS,Starburst)Experience with programming languages (Python, APIs, WebData Connectors, Tableau Extensions, JavaScript).Experience with Financial services data and large datavolumes.W2 only no C2C
