Description:Job Summary:The Sales Associate will be held to the highest standards for honesty and customer service. It will be the Sales Associates duty to assist, educate, and guide customers to the RV that meets their needs while also acting a company liaison between the customer and all departments at the dealership.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Help customers select the unit which best suits their needs and advise on towing requirementsPresent and sell all makes and models of new and used unitsPresent and sell other value-added optionsWrite deals to present to sales managerProvide a high quality, professional experience while generating sales for new and used RVsConduct effective demonstrations and feature walk around presentationsMaintain regular follow-up with prospective and current clientsUtilize customer relationship management software/programs as requiredUtilize dealership management software as requiredAttend all meetings and training as requiredAct as a liaison between customers and all other departmentsKnow current inventory, be enthusiastic and have strong communication with managementMaintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkersMay cross train to perform other dutiesLearn all RV categories- tent trailer, fifth wheels, trailers, and luxury motor homesAny other assigned tasksRequirements:Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent sales and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Strong motivational skills and ability to work independentlyProfessional appearance and demeanorEducation and Experience:Ability to use standard computer applications such.Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.Basic knowledge of recreational vehicles is preferred.Ability to apply techniques of suggestive selling in daily work.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerProlonged periods of walking and standingProlonged periods of bending and kneelingAbility to safely use a ladder and work at heightsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at timesOther duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
