Job Description:
A company is looking for a Legal Director (Legal Counsel) to
provide dedicated legal support to its U.S. Federal sales
organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop policies, procedures, and training to address laws and
contract requirements
Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements related to federal
procurement
Advise on compliance with federal regulations and provide guidance
on intellectual property and data security matters
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and
admission to a US state bar
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant legal experience, focusing on
federal government contracting
Possession or willingness to obtain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph
security clearance
In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other relevant
regulations
Experience in drafting and negotiating complex government
contracts
