Credentialing Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs related to provider credentialing.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinates and performs all provider credentialing and re-credentialing services
Analyzes provider contracts, applications, and other materials for completeness
Monitors credentialing documentation including current licensure and board certification

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
Minimum three (3) years of experience with provider credentialing and/or healthcare contracting preferred
Minimum three (3) years in an administrative role
